Jordyn Woods Drops Dreamy Pics From Civil Ceremony With Karl-Anthony Towns
Just when everyone thought Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns had already delivered their ultimate wedding moment, the newlyweds basically said: “Hold on, we have another outfit.” 😂💍
Days after their spectacular Malibu wedding, Woods has given fans another glimpse into their love story by sharing dreamy photos from a much more intimate part of the celebration — their private civil ceremony.
The couple revealed that they had legally registered their marriage before the larger wedding festivities, giving them an extra wedding moment that was considerably more low-key than the star-studded celebration that followed.
And somehow, “low-key” still looked like it belonged in a luxury fashion magazine.
A Wedding Before the Wedding
Towns and Woods officially celebrated their marriage in Malibu on August 15, 2026, surrounded by family, friends, NBA stars and some very recognizable Hollywood faces.
The main ceremony was anything but ordinary.
Guests included Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Jada Pinkett Smith, Michael B. Jordan and several of Towns’ Knicks teammates, including Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart.
But before all the cameras and celebrity guests arrived, Woods and Towns had already taken care of the most important part: officially becoming husband and wife.
The civil ceremony gave them a quieter opportunity to celebrate the moment together.
And judging from the newly released pictures, quiet did not mean boring.
Jordyn’s Civil Ceremony Look Was a Moment
Woods’ style throughout the wedding celebrations has been one of the major talking points, and her civil ceremony look was no exception.
She wore a sophisticated bridal outfit inspired by Bianca Jagger, giving the intimate ceremony a glamorous but understated feel. The look was another example of how much thought Woods put into the details surrounding the wedding.
Then came the larger celebration, where Woods wore multiple custom Danielle Frankel looks.
Her main ceremony gown featured a strapless silk-wool design with a dramatic skirt, delicate lace details and a cathedral-length veil. She later changed into another custom look for the reception.
At this point, most people would have trouble choosing one wedding outfit.
Jordyn apparently looked at the assignment and decided: “Why choose?” 😂
From Best Friends to Husband and Wife
The wedding represents the latest chapter in a relationship that began with friendship.
Woods and Towns met in 2017 and became romantically involved in 2020 after years of knowing each other. Their relationship grew during a difficult period in Towns’ life, particularly after the death of his mother, Jacqueline, from COVID-19 in 2020.
Woods became an important source of support for Towns during that period. Their relationship continued to develop over the following years, eventually leading to their engagement on Christmas Eve 2025.
That long history makes the newly released civil ceremony photographs feel even more meaningful.
They’re not simply pictures from a glamorous wedding.
They represent the moment two people who started as friends officially became husband and wife.
And Then There Was the NBA Championship

There is another reason this wedding has been particularly special for Towns.
The Knicks had just completed a historic NBA championship run, giving Towns the opportunity to celebrate both an NBA title and his marriage in the same year.
At the wedding reception, the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy reportedly even made an appearance on the dance floor.
Because apparently one trophy wasn’t enough for the weekend.
Towns’ father joked during a toast that his son had earned two rings that year — his championship ring and his wedding ring.
Honestly, that’s one way to make sure nobody forgets 2026.
A New Chapter for the Couple

Woods and Towns’ wedding celebrations have combined everything fans have come to associate with the couple: fashion, family, basketball and plenty of glamorous moments.
But the civil ceremony pictures offer something different.
They’re more intimate.
They show the couple at the beginning of a new chapter, before the huge reception and celebrity guest list took over.
And perhaps that’s what makes them so special.
The Malibu celebration may have been the big show, but the civil ceremony was about the two people at the center of it all.
Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns are officially husband and wife.
And judging from these latest pictures, they are already making marriage look ridiculously good.
Now Knicks fans just have one question: Does the championship trophy get invited to the honeymoon too? 😂🏆❤️
