Jalen Brunson is finally getting the kind of recognition that comes with being an NBA champion, and some of the biggest names in basketball are making sure he hears it.
The Knicks captain has spent years hearing doubts about his size, athleticism and whether he could really be the lead player on a championship team. Now, after guiding New York to its first NBA title since 1973, the conversation has changed dramatically.
And when LeBron James is publicly giving you flowers, it is difficult to ignore just how far Brunson’s reputation has come.
